| The Los Angeles Kings have signed veteran defensemen Brett Clark (left top) to the roster. Brett will vie for time on the teams talented blueline corps. Brett brings a good mix of offensive and defensive talent to the Kings and should fill in nicely in all situations. The Kings also added some muscle by signing winger tough guy Darcy Hordichuk(left bottom). The Kings management felt they needed Hordichuk's fists this season to help protect some of its talented forwards. "You need that guy who can step in and take care of business if things get nasty. Darcy is that guy." said GM Nathan Kopsack. |
| Tom Poti (right), the veteran blueliner that has helped anchor the Kings blueline for many years, has signed a 2 year extension. Terms were undisclosed but officials said the contract is effective this season. "We know how valuable Tom [Poti] is to our team and what he brings to our transition game. We were very happy to get this deal done." said GM Nathan Kopsack. "He has become one of the best blueliners in the game." |
